We just lost our daycare provider...UPDATE
she is moving back to her home country in El Salvador. I searched and searched for months for in home care at an affordable price- She was right around the corner so DH could stop by from his office at home all the time, we met with her several times, had worked out terms(since I don't work in the summer), and Grace loved her. I am so upset- with one month left, we have to start over.
She is referring me to a friend and is supposed to call me back but she is way across town, the opposite directions from work. This will add an extra hour onto my day.

I"m sorry. I know how frustrating that can be. If it helps, I found mine on Craigs list and did my own background search.

I never even thought of looking there! Thanks for the tip! I met this one in the park and did a lot of background checking myself too so I can do it again.

Thanks ladies for your suggestions. I just went on craiglist and emailed a bunch of people. I figure I have great luck selling old furniture on there so why not?

Some good news- I spoke with the woman who was referred by our person and she is really nice- 16 years experience, fully licensed, and 10 a week cheaper! She is about 10 minutes away but doable. We are meeting with her next week and until then, I will be checking her license and references. Thanks ladies for all your support.
