We have Strep!
Just got back from the docs and the pharmacy a little while ago...
turns out that I have strep throat! My sister and her 9month old daughter have it also, so I wanted to get us checked out too.
Taking Emily to the doctor tomorrow but I feel like she's probably going to have it being that her cousins hands were in her mouth on Thanksgiving.
Bleh Bleh Bleh. This sux!!!

Honestly-- Id take strep over coxsackie anyday or any "viral infection" for that matter-
At least with strep you get some good antibiotics and you know in a couple of days she'll (and you'll) be feeling better!

Very true! I am already on antibiotics so hopefully it'll clear up quickly!

I agree! If they put her on antibiotics consider acidiphilus (see Mrs J's post about Katie )

My daughter had it also. I had NO idea. She had it for over a week and i had no idea. She was completely fine, and we went for her school physical and saw that her tongue was white. I thought it was from not brushing it good, and the DR said, lets do a culture anyway, turns out she was + for strep. It was the strangest thing.
