We got FIOS!
Woohoo!! 
So far so good... tv picture quality is EXCELLENT and I get a solid 20mbps down. DH is getting a solid 5mbps up but my PC is only getting 2mbps up right now so we're checking into that. Could just be cause my PC is a bit old.
HD comes in awesome and you get alot of HD channels in the package.
We're getting so much more for our money than with cable.
The only downside I can see right now is that if your phone is Verizon you get patched into the power regardless of whether it's analog or VoIP. So if your power goes out your phone goes out too. But they supply you with a UPS that keeps you on for 4 hrs should the power go. Then an "emergency only" 30 minute backup.
The installation took about 6 hrs (much longer than the 4 they say it will take) but they did a good clean job.

It's not available in many areas so that's why many people haven't heard of it but now you know it's coming. They are going to give cablevision a run for their money.

and around $80 for a fully loaded TV package - full HD package, HBO & CMAX with free On Demand, DVR, 3 converter boxes, etc
The basic TV package is $34.95 and you get alot for that price too.
ETA: you can pay $34.95 and get the same speed as cable (10mbps) - we went for the upgrade since it was still cheaper than cable

I can imagine! Believe me we were paying ALOT more for cable and getting FAR less.
Here's the website for info...don't know how fast they getting it out to other areas though...
