We found a house we like...
And I am so anxious to go see it! I sent an email through MSLI, for more info- I definitely want to schedule a viewing.
Can I expect a response through that? Or should I follow up with the listing agent? I don't want to seem desperate.

you should call the listing agent... I also hate to be the party pooper, but you also shouldn't get your hopes up - we have been looking for many months and have been disappointed way too many times when
1) the house is not available anymore
2) the house looks great on MLSLI and then when you see it its a piece of crap.
I hope you have different experiences than us though!!

Thanks for the reality check! We actually drove by it yesterday- it definitely needs work, but for our budget- we don't have high expectations! The locatioon is great, though- it would really be a wise investment.
Thanks for the advice! I'm going to call the listing agent now!

SUCH a disappointment!
It's pretty much looking like we're out of the game- that was really the only house we even remotely liked. Next year, we will have a bigger budget to work with. I just hate to continue paying rent to someone else- plus now we have to move AGAIN!

Not really too specific. Basically, we wanted to see what we could get for our budget- and it's just not worth it. This one house would have been- the location wa sperfect. But everything else was just horrible.
We found this one in Patchogue, by the water.
