We FINALLY closed today!
I can't believe that we finally closed! It is so surreal, and hard to imagine that we will be living there in just a few days after months of issues and stress! Our closing was so annoying, though. It started at 10, but we didn't get out of there until 2pm. We didn't get the closing cost amount until halfway through the closing, and the bank rep didn't have the check to give to the sellers-- she and the sellers attorney had to drive from Amityville to Melville to get it! Regardless, it is finally over and on Friday we can start working on the house. Hopefully we will move in after teh weekend if we get everything done. It depends on how quickly DH can work. We'll see.
