we FINALLY booked a vacation!
DH and I have been going back and forth over this for months and we finally came to a compromise. I had wanted to go to my timeshare in Mexico, but DH didn't think DS would be good on the long flight and he was worried about taking him to a foreign country.  he wanted to rent a house somewhere close for a week. I'm sorry, but to me that's not vacation.
So we finally decided on a compromise- we're going to my timeshare in Orlando. I still get my resort feel (people bringing me my food and drinks) and DH gets 4 golf courses on the premises. I still get to feel like I'm going somewhere special and we were able to book a direct flight out of Weschester Airport (which is 5 minutes from our house!)
And the best part is, minus whatever we spend there, the whole trip with air, timeshare and rental car is only costing us about $600. I'm so excited!!! I can't wait until Labor Day!
