black pens are customary everywhere. did your atty give you the breakdown of your closing costs and tell you who to get the bank checks for? good luck tomorrow!!!

A pen if you have a favorite if not the office where you are having the closing, bank checks if you need them (your attorney should have told you what you would need), your check book in case you need it and id. Other than that you should be good to go :) Good luck and congrats

I only said that because our seller's attorney was a bit of an air head and works mostly in the city and wanted to sign everything in blue and she had to have the seller's re-sign everything in black because our attorney told her the rule in Suffolk.

You will need a bank certified check for the balance of the downpayment (if you had one). They will not except a personal check for such a large amount of money. Other little fees can be paid by personal check though. Maybe check with your attorney again just to be sure.

thanks! aaah such stress... .just got back from the bank... we did need 2 after all... i wonder if they were going to tell us if i didn't ask! we're closing at 4...
