we can't get xrays right?
my tooth is bothering me so I need to go to the dentist. I know he'll know, but we aren't supposed to get xrays right? I just wanted to make sure before I go.

you can. call your OB and have him/her clear it first but you can have dental xrays during pregnancy i think if you're out of the first tri. they will double shield you.

I had to have one and they double sheilded me...It was also a digital machine ( not sure if there are still any of the older kind around )...Make sure you tell them you are PG

I broke my wrist at around 16 weeks and needed an xray. They double shielded me as well. I have heard of a lot of ppl getting dental xrays.

you get more radiation from being on an airplane than a tooth xray, my dentist also did digital ones which are less too

Same here...my dentist said that she wouldn't do xrays unless I was having a problem, in which case they would double shield me.
