We are getting so close -update 39 week
We are #7 on the expecting list. Yahhh and due the end of this month
yesterday morning I thought I went into labor, my Ob called me in and checked my fluids, BP etc but it was just early labor pains. (1st preg, every feeling seems like the real thing)
We are at the end of my 38 week and I am barely dilated and I am 60% effaced
My birthday is Monday, I was hoping to deliver this baby boy over the weekend but looks like I may have some more time on my hands
Update:
So I had my 39 week apt and was hoping that this was it! Well I am still barely 2cm and I am not 60-70% effaced
Can I go into labor w out being dilated?
He also told DH and I that he cannot induce me until week 41 if I do not go into labor naturally .
ugggg all This discomfort will continue
Anyone else in this situation? Whaaaaa

Good Luck to you!! We are also due the end of this month. I was doing well all along and hit a brick wall on Monday. I am absolutely ready to meet my little one! This weekend would be WONDERFUL!  Good luck and I'm sure all the "Old Wives Tales" wouldn't hurt (i.e. spicy food, walks,  )

I been walking daily, spicy foods etc. I even take a mirror and check my hole daily. Lol

yes you can! i had an appt and was 1cm dilated, 0% effaced...the next night i went into labor and DD was born the following morning
it can happen any time

At my 39 week appointment I was only 1 cm dilated and I went into labor two days later.
