We actually had an awesome Christmas & things are getting better!
First of all DSD who will be 15 in a few weeks WANTED to talk just with me for almost 3 hours when she came over before Christmas. We talked about her boyfriend, her friends, school, her mom & dad & everything else under the sun. It was great
She loved her gifts & all of the clothes I bought her fit her great & are totally flattering. I surprised her with some really great stuff!
She socialized with our guests on Christmas eve & was thankful & appreciative to everyone that gave her gifts-this was a first.
But the biggest shock of all was the email I got from BM after Christmas......
THANKING ME 
and my family & friends for being so good to DSD & for all of the great gifts.
I swear I'm waiting for a monkey to fly out of my butt because I never thought I'd see the day I'd get a thank you for ANYTHING!
We are thrilled!!!!

That is great!! I don't know your entire story but, the fact that BM thanked you for something and went out of her way by sending email is wonderful! I hardly ever get a thank you from BM if I do it's usually through SS.
