Waxing Question
For those ladies that have gotten a Brazilian or Bikini while pregnant...
I have an appt in a couple of weeks (b4 I leave for Aruba) and I remember when I got Brazilian b4 I was pregnant I'd take a couple of Advil a half hour b4 the appt. Now what? I don't take any pain meds so do I just sit through the pain? Is it worse pregnant or the same?
Not that I love getting it done, but I love the results (especially since it's not as easy for me to do it).
TIA

Re: Waxing Question
I just had my first bikini wax without Advil on Wednesday and you know what, there was really no difference. Try to keep your mind occupied while she's doing it. If you and your waxer talk alot try to tell her a funny or happy story to take your mind off of the pain. Good luck!

Re: Waxing Question
I had always taken advil before also. I didn't take anything before a waxing appointment while pregnant. For me, it was much more painful than before pregnancy.

Re: Waxing Question
I've never waxed anything but my eyebrows before so I'm sorry I can't help!
Not to hijack - but do you think it will be too traumatic for me to start waxing while pg?

Re: Waxing Question
You are a BRAVE BRAVE woman if you're having a brazillian - I don't know about you, but I'm much more sensitive 'down there' now .....I don't think I could stand even the thought of it -
I'd go for a regular wax ..........

Possibly... the first time I did it was b4 my wedding and I took a bunch of advil b4. I've done it a few times after, but not since being pregnant. I just heard we're more sensitive down there when prego and we can't take any pain killer. Maybe you should wait
