Re: water sono
They fill your uterus up with water while they do a sono to see if there are any issues. It's a little uncomfortable but nothing terrible.

Re: water sono
I just did it last week and it was totally fine. I didn't experience any pain.

Re: water sono
It is also fun when you sit up and the saline water comes out. Nobody told me that :)

Hahahha!!! I'm old hat at them, and just grab a bunch of those wee wee pad things to clean it up before the nurse comes back in. I even wear a pad to the office cuz I know I'm going to leak after!

Re: water sono
Thanks everyone. The nurse at the IVF class tonight told me that Dr. K will do the water sono himself and that if he sees any polyps that he'll remove them- and that in the event that it's difficult to remove he'll give me some light sedative on the spot and then remove it. We won't do it until I'm on BCPs so here's hoping for the best!!!

Re: water sono
Didn't hurt - just some pressure. Definitely be prepared for the gush of water when you stand up!!!

Re: water sono
Like others said, it was quick. I only had very minor cramping. Good luck!
