water parks

We are looking to take DS on an over night trip this summer, possibly to Water Country in NH. Just looking for thoughts on being pg and going on the water rides, I am just about 17 weeks now and we are looking to go in the near future.

Thanks!

I wouldn't do anything but the lazy river and maybe a giant flume family ride -- but even that I'd worry about. Talk to your OB.

Re: water parks

We have a big water slide at our town pool, and I REALLY want to go on it. But I'm so afraid, I probably wouldn't go on anything besides the lazy river either

Re: water parks

I am pretty sure you won't be able to go on any of the rides at the water park and it will be listed on all of the signs.

DH and I went on a cruise to the Bahamas when I was 17 weeks and Atlantis has an awesome water area and I couldn't do any of it. Not even the lazy river.

Re: water parks

They usually have signs posted at the entrance of the ride.

Exactly. They won't let you get on any rides if you're showing.

I'm sure it was that and the signs said something to the effect of it being a more active than lazy river with strong water surges.
