Try seltzer. Sometimes the carbonation makes it easier. Or try taking a pitcher of water and adding a sliced orange, apple and lemon, & lime. Let it sit in the refrigerator for a few hours. It is really good, kind of taste like a fruit punch.

You could be hungry. If you drink water on an empty stomach, it will make you nauseous and possibly give you heartburn, that happens to me constantly.

Re: water makes me naseua!
Oh my God I am so glad that I am not the only crazy one!!! For the whole first trimester and a few weeks into the second trimester I had an awful aversion to water---most specifically the smell bothered me(tap or bottled), but the taste was nasty too. You definately need to drink water when pregnant though so I would take 3 bottled waters and down them at some point throughout the day(the faster I could drink them and the colder they were, the better). I had to make sure I drank 3 full ones rather than just drinking throughout the day or I would not have been taking enough in. It was like swallowing medicine for me for awhile. The bottles helped because I couldnt smell it as much when I drank it and it went down faster. Even washing my hands bothered me because I could smell it!! I am now 21 weeks and have no aversion to it at all anymore and havent for a few weeks. I definately feel your pain though. It was awful for awhile so I just tried hard to view the water as medicine and something I just had to do. The dr told me to try seltzer too, but I dont like the taste of that either. They also suggested adding lemon to the water(that didnt help either though). Good Luck and hopefully your nausea will go away soon like mine did!!

Wow- I thought I was the only one, too.
I can only down coldddd water- sometimes. Carbonation def. helps. My mom suggested ice- like sucking ice cubes or ice chips- that works pretty well but I guess you need to eat a lot of them to make a difference.

Re: water makes me naseua!
I usually love water, but beginning last week it began tasting strange to me (not in a good way). In order to make sure I drink enough, I have Lipton's Decaf Iced Tea mix that I stir into my water. Not great for my sugar intake, but it tastes delicious.

Re: water makes me naseua!
sometimes water gave me a weird after taste that i just couldn't drink.
I would drink liquids in that case - gingerale mostly. But that would come and go - and when it would go I'd drink water.
