I just got some mail from American Water Resources asking if we want to sign up for extended water and sewer coverage. I guess it's to protect us in case there is a break, leak, or repair needed on the pipes going from the house to the main lines in the street.

I know we signed up for this last year, I just assumed we needed it. Now I'm rethinking this year. I called my home owner's insurance and any pipe repairs would NOT be covered.

Does everyone sign up for this? Just wondering. TIA.
