Water

Any idea who i can call because I think water incoming in from aroundawindow? I noticed a small water spot on the wall. Not sure if I call a regular handyman or someone special?

It could be coming from anywhere. If you can get into your attic, check if there is any water coming in from your roof. Water can run down to the weirdest places.

We recently had some water on our bathroom tile floor. I suspected it was coming from outside on the foundation. Turns out we have two issues. One, a leak from the corner of where our house meets the roof, the water has rotted beams inside our walls. So DH and my dad patched it up as best they could until the spring comes where they have to replace all the support beams in the wall.

What I also didn't know is that the little plastic ring in the drain of the tub failed as well, causing a waterfall of water to come in from around my window, through the seams of the molding around the window, down the walls and all over our brand new bathroom one night while DH took a shower. We had to cut a hole in my brand new sheet rocked ceiling to find it and replace it with a .39 cent piece of plastic.
