Can anyone recommend a Hotel near Washington DC in a nice area in either Virginia or Maryland.

We stayed at the Washington Hilton near Dupont circle. We got the deal through either travelzoo or living social or something at a great rate. Overall was very happy with the hotel, location, cleanliness, updated. Rooms were small though. I feel like I paid around $120 a night or something so the rate was really great. Parking we found offsight about 1/3 of a mile away at a good rate as well, we ditched the car for the week.

The Roslyn section of Arlington is right across the bridge from the district and has a bunch of the major chain hotels.

we stayed in Arlington as well. it was close to a subway stop, so we took that going into DC
