washing babies clothes?

DD turned 3 weeks on Tuesday - we are going to an outdoor event on sunday and I just bought her a new outfit. Of course our drier just broke yesterday. Do I really need to wash it or can she just wear it? (I hate how clothes look and feel when they are just line dried after being washed) should I try and find another place to wash and dry it before she wears it?

At 3 weeks, I would say yes - wash it.
If she were 3 months..thats a different story.

ITA

Wash it and let it air dry. They're small clothes so it shouldn't be so bad. Much different than our clothes. Chat Icon

Re: washing babies clothes?

I still wash ALL of my DS new clothes before he wears it and he's 9 months and I line dry it all bc i don't want it to shrink. I would if I were you. Just iron it after it's dry, that will soften it up.

ETA: i didn't write that i wash his new clothes
