Was freaking out...Now I am relieved
Last night after the gym I started bleeding like crazy. I started freaking out, thought I was miscarrying again, and we called the doctor. She said not to come to the hospital unless it gets heavier and to come to the office first thing in the morning.
We just got back...we heard & saw the heartbeat! It was so amazing. I'm still spotting, and she couldn't tell where it was coming from, so I am going back tomorrow to keep my original pregnancy workup appointment and get more tests.
She told me for now to take it easy, stop exercising for a coupe of weeks, and try not to stress.
Has this happened to anyone else?

Re: Was freaking out...Now I am relieved
I had random spontaneous bleeding at 12 weeks. I had a pelvic exam and ultrasound and they never found the cause. My cervix was always closed and it looked like th bleeding was coming from inside the vagina but not the cervix
The vagina becomes very vascular during pregnancy that in combination with the increase in blood volume makses you more susceptible to burst small cappillaries when exerting yourself (such as exercise) and cause you to bleed......

Ah, that makes sense. I've been pulling back at the gym but still going regularly, I guess that's what did it. I was tired yesterday and still went.
