Wanted to share something beautiful Cailen did
I have been pretty emotional about my grandma dying, but Cailen did 2 beautiful things that have stuck with me.
The morning I discovered my grandma died (July 1st) Cailen kissed my necklace - it was the necklace she gave me a few days before she died that was her father's gold watch chain she made into a necklace and wore everyday.
But at the burial, I was standing behind my dad and her boyfriend, Mel, holding Cailen. Mel's son and daughter-in-law were rubbing Mel's back.
Cailen, all on his own, reached over, and gently started rubbing Mel's back too.  The daughter-in-law was so touched by this she started crying. Cailen's face was so sincere. He wasn't doing t for a response. He just focused on Mel, and rubbed his back. 
Last year, way before grandma got sick, I told her how when a child cries in his class, he goes over, puts his arm around them, and comforts them. Grandma had tears in her eyes at how sensitive he was. She would have been so touched by what he was doing for Mel.
Just wanted to share.

What a beautiful story! So sorry about your Grandma. This especially touched me since mine is days away from dying too. Can Calien come over and cheer me up too? What a sweetheart

omg what a little luv bug.... he is just the sweetest little boy ~ so cute ~ I am tearing just reading this....
