Re: Wanted Dehumidifier
Just goto Home Depot and buy a new one. They're only like 50 bucks, and that way you have a warranty in case it breaks, and you know its new and probably more energy efficient than one that someone would be selling.

Re: Wanted Dehumidifier
I saw them at National Wholesale Liquidator today. That store is crazy but they have some good things from time to time... I think it was $89 or something like that...

Re: Wanted Dehumidifier
yeah, too cheap to get a used one. You will want a warranty. Get a new one.

I saw a bunch on Craigs List. I was looking for one too. The cheapest I've seen them new for a decent model that holds enough to make you not have empty it on every hour was around $140.

Last season we got one that has a hose drain at Home Depot for about 50-75 dollars. No emptying at all!

I was in Walmart last night and sort of surprised that the ones I saw there were $154 and $168....

Re: Wanted Dehumidifier
I have one we never used. It's fairly new and in perfect condition (and barely used). I got it at Sears.
Let me talk to DH and see if we "will" need it for any reason.

I was at Home Depot today and didn't see one under $139. Did I miss something??

Re: Wanted Dehumidifier
We bought one at Walmart tonight - 50 pint for $168. PC Richards wanted $250 for 40 pint ones.
Do you know how many pints the $139 home depot one was?

Re: Wanted Dehumidifier
We just ordered one from P C Richard today and with tax came to like 170.00. I am even having it delivered (free shipping). We needed one so bad.

I believe it was 30 pints. There was another one for $179 that was 45 pints. Seems like you got a good price!

Scott, I have to find it in my garage. I can't remember where I put it.
DH said we did not need it.
