Re: Wall paper

I did our bathroom a couple of months ago. I mixed fabric softener with hot water and used a rag to wet the paper with the mixture... really wet it. The top layer was a little tough... but if you get it wet enough it will come off easy. Then, I re-wet the paper part that is stuck on the wall and scraped it right off. It really was not that bad!

Good luck!

I don't know much about wallpaper but are you talking about removing it?

That's definitely a removal process, not a hanging process.

I've only hung wallpaper border, not full walls. The border is really easy, since it's much smaller than wallpaper, and minimal seams.

Once you get the hang of it, it isn't too hard to do. My mom helped me wallpaper my kitchen. I used the wallpaper glue the wallpaper store recommended. When you have the glue all on the back and are ready to put it up, fold the bottom part and make it stick to the back. This will help you line it up first before you smooth it down.

With a closet, you won't be too concerned if the pattern lines up.
