We bought a shelf from Etsy that has our daughters name spelled out... It's so cute.. SO is gonna put it up soon and make sure it's high enough where our LO can't reach and secure enough where it won't fall

We have a beautiful large tree decal. Too bad my 17mo has never slept in there. Lol

We plan on putting his name up, my SIL wants to make us a custom sign. I kind of like the idea of a wall quote that says "dreams really do come true" but ultimately I'd rather see his name up there.

We ordered a decal from an Etsy Vendor that had DD's name and a baby owl on it. So cute! We moved and had to leave it behind, I almost cried!

I saw this on Pinterest and loved it. Also found a website that you can get the letters for a great price. Any size and you can choose from a ton of fonts. Also would be cute to put pictures in or a quote. Adds a little something to just a blank wall.

Scrapbook wall art


We're doing this. With everything on sale, all 9 blocks with scrapbook paper only cost like $30.
Obv. we're choosing paper that would look good with the nursery colors.

I found a company that makes decals that look like scripted hand painting... they go on in words and they are very easy to peel off if, down the road, you want to change it up.

Anyone who knows me knows that I am a DIE HARD Toby Keith fan -- once DH vetoed naming the baby Toby Keith JK! But seriously, I said to DH, we have to incorporate him somehow. So, I figured the nicest way without having a Red Solo Cup nightlight was to take my favorite song by him - people associate his music with fun, drinking, and partying but he actually has much more serious and deep music - all he wrote himself, and one of his favorites (and mine) is called Dream Walking. He named his ranch after that song. And one of the quotes is "There's a thin line between dreams and memories..."

I wanted to get that, in a nice script, written out and put it on the wall above the crib. The person doing it is going to be a scroll-like design on either side and make it very pretty, like it was hand painted on the wall.

I ordered from here before -- for our entry way in our first home. It said "Home ~ the place your story begins" and people always thought it was painted on and it was actually an adhesive word placed on the wall.

Anyway, that's our plan. I'm going to order it soon - when I do, and when I get the nursery done, I'll def post pics.
