you're so close! take it one step at a time.
i have about a month to go still, so i figured i should probably get a move on already. for me, it does help with the back pain and overall discomfort, not to mention the good sleep that comes from it. but, as with all things while you're pregnant, we'll see how long i can take it Chat Icon

Re: walking to induce labor

I was out and about yesterday running errands - Friday is my due date - I had to stop periodically and/or slow down to the point where old ladies would've passed me by. It was rough! I cannot see doing that again this week - I'm spreading out my remaining errands.

I think it is the determination to get that baby out. Like a wave that comes over them.

Re: walking to induce labor

i 100% think that this is why i am not still preg today... i was at the mall for 3 hours the afternoon before ds was born... and i didnt even know i was in labor!

with my older ds i walked for two miles when i started feeling alot of contractions and can tell you that once i sat down my contractions kicked up to two minutes apart...

yes it hurt but WELL worth it
