Wainscoting and bead board?
Is there a difference? If so, what is it?

Re: Wainscoting and bead board?
wainscoting is individual lats of wood stacked next to each other. Bead board is a board (a few feet wide) with grooves to "look" like wainscoting. Wainscoting is more expensive because of the material and time to install it.
Think of it like hardwood floor for the wall (you nail/glue each individual lat) vs. pergo that look like wood (and usually has a few lats on the print) and is easier to install.
