Virginia Beach

looking to plan a week long trip to Virginia in August. Want to do Williamsburg and Bush Gardens

Does anyone have any recommendations on where to stay, what to see etc...

This will be for 2 families: 4 adults and 6 kids between ages 2 and 9

Are you looking to stay at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront? I may be able to make some hotel recommendations if you tell me what you are looking for. There are tons of things to do here in the summer and Williamsburg is only 45 minutes away.

I would definitely go to Busch Gardens and/or Water Country USA. You can get a two day pass for both (they are right across the street from each other). Colonial Williamsburg is nice too and very informative.

As far as Virginia Beach, we have The VB aquarium just down the road from the beach and thats always fun with kids. Right down the road from that we have Ocean Breeze fun park which includes a water park, mini golf, and go carts. You could Definitely make 2 days out of this.
