Vineyards with a baby
I've lived on LI my whole life and have never visited the vineyards out east. My husband happens to be off Friday & it won't exactly be beach weather so we are thinking of heading out east. Any recommendations for a "baby friendly" vineyard? Also do any allow you to bring outside food? Thanks :)

Vineyards with a baby
I second ospreys. We were there Sunday. We've gone every summer starting when our girls were 6 weeks old. Plenty of space. Lots of tables. You can bring your own food. Music. Great selection of wines.

Jamesport Vineyards, also close enough to the fork to not get you stuck in horrible traffic when you just want to get home...or even get there for that matter.
Great wine, good food, open lawns and bocce courts.

Can you bring your own food there?

No outside food, beverages or coolers permitted on the premises.
Editing: Jamesport Vineyards offers its guests a light fare menu in its tasting room including local artesian cheeses, crackers and foods. On weekends, a wood fired oven provides some of the best flatbreads on the North Fork. Plus, assorted sandwiches, lobster rolls and even gourmet chocolates. Non-alcoholic beverages are also available.

I know! Annoying you can't bring your own food but those flatbreads look good!
