Video Monitors??
So the montior i had on my registry was the one that was recalled and its not off my registry...
Does anyone know when these are expected to come back? or should i register for a different one?? I really want the video one
can anyone recommend another one? im registered at BBB.

Well..if it's for the cord recall, I would say, as I am, think of ways you can rig it without the cord being near the crib..if it's for the battery, I would contact Summer Infant..I've called a couple of times and they have been extremely helpful...

yeah its for the cord recal, but i think i read somewhere that they are improving it or something about creating a wall mount so the cord wont be an issue...honestly i would still get it and obvi not have the cord anywhere near the crib, but, they no longer sell it at BBB.

I am running into the same problem but I want that monitor. I am going to try and hold out for it. Maybe i'll send an email to the manufacturer to see when they are expected back in. I'll let you know if I hear back from them.

Which one did you register for? I was there on Thursday and they had a bunch of them out on the shelves, but have none of them on their website

I'm in the same position. I registered for another one because my shower is coming up soon, but it doesn't get great reviews. I think I'm going to keep it in the box and return it when the Summer Infant one is restocked. The baby will be sleeping with us for the first few months so I figure I don't really need it right away.

Yeah i registerd for the summer infant video monitor...DH wanted the touch screen one, but i was really hopeing to get it for my baby shower so i dont have to buy it myself....i think i still have a little time before my shower, but i notice people are buying stuff already!
i want that one too...but im just hoping its back by in time

My mom just bought the summer slim and secure handheld monitor over the weekend. The only thing that is going on with the recall is that they put a sticker on it with a warning not to put the cord near the baby.
I don't think they took them off the shelves.

Thats the one that my parents got me over the weekend as well, but it was purchased at BRU not BBB. I can say that BBB did not have this one on the shelves at the store

i registered for the best view - you cant by it onling at bbb but i saw it in the store
the recall was only to put warning labels on them so i would think they would be back pretty soon
