Very subtle menstral-like cramps
at least that is what I think it is-- or maybe it's just a little gas. I haven't had any cramps since the first trimester... what gives? Is it BH feeling a little different??
I am 31 weeks.

I have had these on and off for about 4 weeks ( I am 39 1/2 weeks now). My doctor said it is prob. BH

touch your tummy when you feel them. if your stomach is rock hard, it's BH.
i get BH but don't feel them. once in a while i'll touch my stomach and get freaked out cause it's like a rock  . after a few it goes back to being mushy  .

i have been having MAJOR period like cramping at 34 1/2 weeks, and my stomach gets hard like a rock..also im having pain down there like in my geiney lol...like shooting sharp pains, and i felt her moving all the way down there and can actually feel her head by touching my pelvis...i feel like i may go much earlier then we even anticipated!

I don't want to scare you, but this is what I felt before winding up in the hospital for 3 days with premature contractions. I think it is worth a call to the doctor.

i feel like he is coming out sometimes LOL

I get occasional AF like cramping. But if it's constant, I'd feel better just letting the Dr. know.

thanks-- it's not constant, just once or twice over the last 3 days or so.
I am pretty sure I have already been getting BH, but was just wondering if the feelings were getting stronger during a BH contraction. Up to this point, I really have not felt much discomfort-- just the tight belly.
I guess what I was really wondering was if BH gets stronger the further along you are-- I know some find them pretty uncomfortable.

but i do have pelvic pressure / pain
i literally have to roll off the bed

Agree. I had light cramping and I didn't think it was worth a call. But then I read somewhere that you are not suppose to have cramping that far along. So, I called my doctor and they were very upset that I didn't call sooner. I think it is worth a call. They will probably test you for FFN, which is a test that predicts preterm labor. If there is no protein present then you are 99% percent not going to go into preterm labor. The value of the test is only good for negative results because there are so many false positives. They will also set you up on the monitor to see if you are actually contracting.
I have been monitored closely now, going to see the doctor once a week until I give birth at 36 weeks.
As for my update, I tested positive 2 for FFN and most recently a negative result. I guess the other 2 were false positives.
