Very Strange........
Someone just drove by my house.... a guy and a girl and they were taking pictures of my house......then they drove down to the end of the block turned around came back and were taking more pictures.....At first, I thought maybe they were taking pics of my Halloween decorations.......but they aren't photo worthy....now I'm starting to get nervous....what could they have wanted????

I've had that happen and it turned out to be appraisers in the area doing comps on houses.

That is strange...if you see them again try to get there licence plate # and call the cops, I wouldn't want someone taking pic's of my house!

When DH and I were at the begninning planning stages for constuction and we were looking for different stone and front doors we would drive around neighborhoods and if something stood out that we liked we would take a picture.
It could have been the tye of stone, the color, the framing of the windows, the garage door, color or style, or front door, two on, window? no windows? if windows were they etched etc etc etc

I have totally wanted to take photos of a house down the block from me because I love the work they did on the porch. But I always was concerned about freaking out the owner.
Would you have been more freaked out if they person knocked on your door. I was thinking about knocking on the door and asking the owners.

I've been taking random photos of houses for ideas, too. I try to be subtle, but sometimes it's not that easy.

When my mom was residing her house she drove around looking for ideas. When she finally found the type she loved, a guy happened to be outside and she got out and talked to him.  He was so nice though and gave her a sample of the siding that he had left over, told her exactly where he bought it, and gave her the sku number on the boxes.
I'm sure it's okay!
