Verizon FIOS bill
What is a regional sports network fee? It's 4.99 and lumped into the surcharges and fees. And what about the "video franchise fee"?! I don't even watch sports and have basic package?
I know I could call them but don't feel like spending 30 min of my life!
If it weren't for my kids I would not be paying Verizon to rip me off!

Both of those are fees/taxes being passed along to you (the consumer) by Fios who is being charged by networks to allow them to air their programming. They're local charges and there's nothing you can do about them.

Verizon FIOS bill
They used to be just lumped into the "price" on the bill. Awhile ago, state legislatures passed measures requiring companies to disclose/itemize to ensure consumers they were being billed fairly.
