Vent: Facebook Sale Groups!
LOL these things are starting to drive me nuts!
I'm trying to sell one of those little tikes toddler basketball hoops. for $10- its in good shape, perfectly fine. a lady commented saying she wanted it, and asked me if i had a ball to go with it. I told her i didn't. She still said she would probably be able to come this weekend to get it.
so i messaged her this morning, asking her if she was going to come today or tomorrow, so i could make sure it was out for her. she said " you don't have a basketball, so it doesn't serve a purpose..."
WTH?? her grandson is 13 months she said... i mean, at that age is he really gonna be dribbling and all that?? can't any small ball from the dollar store work?
LOL it just cracks me up!!! she coulda just said " i changed my mind..." its just so funny to me!
any other funny Facebook sale group stories??

Ditto! Anything nice I give to daycare. The junk goes in the garbage. I can't deal with pple.

oh yeah... most stuff i donate, or pass on to my nephew.
this little tikes stuff lasts forever. my sister didn't want it, so i figured out of anything, this was worth trying to get a few bucks for. never again! LOL people are so weird!!

Yess!! Seriously. I am lucky I have had good luck selling some things. I gave away my daughters crib for free, sold it on marketplace and I had someone come that was so nice. She even messaged me after saying thank you again and how her daughter slept so well in it. Other times Ill have a list and if you miss someone and go on to the next person holy hell happens. I get nervous selling on the groups because you never know who is going to come over.

I sell a lot on those groups (just had a p/u this morning) and don't generally have problems. I don't hold items, though. First come, first served.
