wow Kelley! I am sooo sorry you are dealing with this! They really need to keep their mouths shut and stop complaining about everything. So annoying.
You dont need the extra stress. Try to brush it off your shoulders and not let it get to you. Or tell them upfront, you really dont want to hear them complaining about everything..or have your DH talk to them maybe?

Just remember some people just love to compalin...they live for it. Try not to pay them any attention. Just continue to do what you and DH think is right and not was MIL/SIL think is right.
People can be so annoying! Sorry you have to deal with this.

Did you also remind them that there is this crazy thing now called online shopping if someone doesn't want to drive "all the way" to buy buy baby? So they have to pay shipping which is probably cheaper than the gas and time it takes to drive there anyway.
Just remember, some people only like to complain.
p.s. - I only registered at buybuybaby when I had my DS so I think you're being uber nice by registering at both places.

I know it's hard but try to ignore their idiotic comments and complaints.

So sorry you are dealing with this. You are making me really greatful for my MIL. Who did carry twins (my dw and sil) so it has been really helpful.

I totally understand ur pain....On sunday my MIL says "So, do you know how much weight you've gained?" I say "Yeah, 6 pounds." Her response "Yikes!" Really???? Im almost 16 weeks and I gained 6 pounds and she says yikes? I dont think 6 pounds is nothing but its def. not a yikes to me. But even if thats her opinion, myabe she needs to have some consideration and shut up! Good thing Im not really sensitive and I said "Guess I wont be eating the rest of that chicken." I sometimes think they just like to make us miserable!

this is what u should do...
at the shower..get everyone's attention..say thanks for coming etc etc..then go we had a bit of trouble picking a date and when we decided on one it was hard for (sil name) bc it was her birthday weekend and we knew she felt a bit upset so...
and bring out a cake...everyone will think u r the nicest person in the world and think she is a douche for making this about her when it was not

Crazy how some people just won't give up or stop complaining! I myself have had to deal with this many of times and have gone nuts, but best thing is to try and ignore people like this. It's just not worth getting yourself upset over. Sorry that you have to go through this.....just focus on your two little angels!
