vent....

i start my 36th week tomorrow and i plan on working until 38 weeks, but i don't know how much longer i will last! i stayed home yesterday and today....i am just a walking zombie!!! the commute to the city is killing me too. by the time i get to work i could turn right back around. people are so rude and it makes me want to cry cause i get so frustrated. just the though of getting on the LIRR to Penn with all those people, then the two trains to transfer makes me nauseous!!

Plus it seems I have more work on my desk these last two weeks then I've had for the last few months!!

Thanks for listening!!!Chat Icon

Re: vent....

Or maybe you can get a doctors note saying that you are very uncomfortable and the commute is becoming too much for you.

this is a good option too - if you can afford it, you may be able to collect disability until the baby comes.

Re: vent....

I'm right there with you. I'm so sick of people shoving past me on the street and not giving up seats on the train.

I think in the next week or 2 I'm going to ask if I can work from home at least 2 days a week.

You should definitely see try to do the same.

Re: vent....

Aww, I'm sorry. Those last few weeks are so rough, and it's awesome you are still able to make it to work being 9 months preggo! Good luck to you!

Re: vent....

That must be rough and I don't blame you for being upset. I commuted into NYC for 3 months (non-pregnant) and hated it, so I can't even begin to imagine what it's like to do that commute and be preggo.

Hang in there though, you're almost done! Any way you can work from home?
