Vegas Bachelorette Party
I'm a bridesmaid in a very close friend's wedding we are throwing around the idea of a Las Vegas bachelorette party but I had some concerns about the cost of the trip. For anyone who attended a bachelorette party there, would you mind sharing approx. how much you spent - like flight, hotel and then money spent there? (you can leave out what you budget to gamble with)
One of the other BMs quoted $1300pp for flight plus 2 nights hotel stay (2 rooms)... I imagine it could be over $2000 once you factor in eating and partying, etc.
If anyone's done a trip like this, please come in!

I went to Miami for bachelorette party.. Between everything I prob spent $2500... Bride paid her own way except for one big $$$ dinner we split.. It was 8 of us. It was a blast but pretty expensive.

This is good to know also. I know the BM didn't factor in paying the bride's way but I wasn't sure what the expectation was on that aspect of the trip. Thanks for the input!

Vegas Bachelorette Party
I was invited to one. Cost is $1100 for flight and three nights. Plus dinner, drinks, entertainment. Probably like $1600 -$2000. Could see it being more depending on what we did.
I'm not going for a number of reasons but cost definitely made my decision easier. Everyone does something different when it comes to footing the bride's bill. Personally as a past bride, I think the bridesmaids should not pay for my vacation. Dinner and drinks one night is all I'd expect. I went to NoLa for mine and I paid for my flight and hotel, no way would I expect people to pay for anything else. It gets very price to be in a wedding and coming was more than enough for me. But some people think it's a free vacation. I've experienced both.

Vegas Bachelorette Party
I went to Vegas 2 years ago with DH and flight and hotel for 4 nights was $950 for both of us staying at Mandalay . The entire trip cost us like $2000 for both, I did do a couple of dinner through groupon so that cut the cost

That was about what I paid for my Vegas bachelorette party. We stayed at the MGM Grand. I gladly paid my own way since I was the one who wanted to go to Vegas and told my BMs they did NOT have to attend if they didn't want to/couldn't swing it. Two of 5 didn't go (my sister who was only 18 at the time, and one who couldn't afford it). It was totally fine. Of course- my BMs spent a bit more money because they took me out to a big dinner one night, got tickets to see Blue Man Group, and rented a limo to pick us up from the airport.
ETA: Since there were only 4 of us, we all shared one hotel room. It was me, my bff, and my two SILs.

To keep costs down, you could do AC or Mohegan Sun. I planned a Bachelorette Party at Mohegan Sun and it was great. We did a wine tasting Saturday day, too.

A girl I work with is going to Cancun for 4 days and their trip is $1200 which includes air fare, hotel and all inclusive.
I think if you are going to spend that much money for Vegas you should at other places.
ETA: my friend at work is the bride and she is paying her own way.

Wow. What hotel and what time of year? I am going at the end of the month and I am paying that for two NIGHTS at the hotel and that is with a discounted conference rate. The cheapest I've ever seen vegas flights is $350 RT.

Vegas Bachelorette Party
It's an expensive trip -- the last time I did it I was single so really didn't even keep track of the costs; however, I'd say it was definitely close to $2000 when all was said and done. We drank a lot with guys we met at the clubs so we didn't have the cost of liquor, except one day that we purchased a table at a pool party. For me, that last trip was amazing and a memory I won't forget.
