Vasectomy
Did anyone or anyones husband get a vasectomy without insurance? Ours will not cover it. Wondering the final price because I can not get a straight answer from the places I have called. Also who did you use and would you recommend them?> Thanks

My DH used Dr. Chen in Bethpage or Hicksville. I can't remember exactly. MY DH really liked him. I don't have any insight on the cost.

No experience but I love how insurance won't cover it. Wouldn't that one time procedure be cheaper than paying your bills for pregnancy and Labor and Delivery for baby after baby?
Gotta love the logic of these insurance companies!!

I am thinking since its the male they will still have to cover all that if the women gets knocked up by a different guy.
What I think that makes no sense is that insurance won't cover getting your tube tied. Esp. Right now with current law Birth control has to be covered free of charge and if a women gets pregnant they have to cover every thing you said!
