DD has a stuffy nose and a dry cough, do you think one of these would help her?

This is what I have and was told to use by my doctor too but I know others that swear by vaporizors (i.e. my sister) so who knows. Every doctor I've talked to has said cool mist humidifier though. I got a really cute one at Bed, Bath and Beyond. They have animal ones (frog, cow, pig).
