Vanities - Help!

Help me please! I need to order vanities soon and I can't make a decision.
We need 2 23 1/2" vanity cabinets for our home. The contractor brought me a book of vanities and I like 2 of them -
the issue is the wood.

The bathrooms are both all white tile with white toilets, sinks, etc. The vanities I like come in both oak & maple or white.

Both vanity cabinets are Shaker style.

The master bath I wanted to do more of a "spa" look - so that means a lighter wood...with white.
What is the difference between the oak & maple?

You mean in color or in wood type?

I might be off here but I think when we looked that oak was lighter looking, like more of a pinkish tint to the wood stain and maple had a tad of a brownish tint to it. They were both very similar in color though, just the tints were a little different.

That's what I need to know! The bathrooms are both totally white.
What would go?
I thought plain maple shaker style w/ a clear finish would look great - spa-like and clean.
The other bathroom is going to be "shabby" so white would do there...
These are difficult decisions!
