Valentine's Day Handprint Crafts (w/ pics!)
I babysit for a 3 year old girl and every holiday we make a little gift for her Mom.
This was our craft for this year. We made both a picture frame and this little hanging decoration.
For the picture frame we just used a plain wooden frame that was $1 at Michael's. I had all of the paints and paint pens since I do a lot of crafts. She painted the entire frame pink. We used her handprint and two thumbprints in the middle of the hand to make the "Kissing Hand Heart" in the middle. We used her left hand to make the handprint since she is a lefty. Then we sprinkled some fine glitter on everything while the paint was wet so that it will be shimmery.
The picture frame isn't perfect. I have some touchups to do once it dries, but I still wanted to share the idea!  Image Attachment(s):
