valentine's day experience ideas?
SO and i decided a bit ago that were were going to stay away from "gifts" and have more experiences.
this year, valentine's day is on a thursday. i'm looking for ideas on something we might be able to do the following weekend.
ideas?

Well, I don’t know how much this counts as an experience, but last year SO and I did a craft.
We usually leave post-its on our bathroom mirrors (we each have our own bathroom). So we painted boxes for each other to put our post-its in. We bought the paint and paint brushes and we had a nice steak dinner afterwards. He got really into it and made me a nice box.
However, that (post-its) is our thing. Is there a thing you guys have? That way you can build on it.

A couples sip and paint. I just went to a sip and paint fundraiser at my kids school and was checking out the painters Facebook and he had pictures of where couples would each paint half of a painting and then when you put them together it makes a whole painting...thought it was cute. It was sip and paint with frank if you want to check it out, maybe something similar in your area.

We usually do a "special occasion" dinner -- pricey restaurant, tasting menu.
Maybe a wine tasting?
We did a couples cooking class once, and it was fun.
A show?
A couples massage/spa day?
I guess it depends on what you guys are into, and what you enjoy doing together.
