Valentine's Day Dance
My son is only 2 but I keep seeing people on Facebook with older kids talking about daddy-daughter Valentines Day dances. Is there any event for the boys? This makes me sad as a boy mom. Why can't it be for all parents and their kids to include everyone?

My sons school from last year did mom and son events, one year was a picnic the other was monster golf.
They don't have mom & son dances because boys are less likely to be into that like girls 
Haven't heard anything with his new school but they did have a daughter father dance.

Not all school's limit it to a certain sex. In ours, the child could just bring anyone. With that said, we don't really care for school dances since the kids just run around more than they dance.

In our elementary school we have a generic dance...4th and 5th have mother son and father daughter events. As a girl mom, I'm bummed that I'll never get to go to one of those, especially since my dds and dh are so excited.

Valentine's Day Dance
Our district does Daddy/Daughter dances in the Spring. They also do Mother/Son bowling and that is in March.

Our school did mother/son paint night.
It wasn't related to Valentine's Day though. Nor was the father/daughter dance

Same here (but, it's in the evening). It's a lot of fun and is open to all grades.
Our father/daughter dance isn't until after V-day and it isn't open to all grades.

As a boy mom, I hear you. Our elementary school has a father/daughter dance and a separate mother/son laser tag night too. Laser tag night with my son is really fun and special for us.
Hopefully your son's school will have something similar. If not, start it up!
