Vacuum reccomendations for around $200?
Our vacuum died this past week :( We can only afford to spend around $200. Does anyone have a suggestion for a good vacuum around that price?
We have a dog, but she's little, and doesn't have really long hair, so that's not too much of an issue.

I'm pretty sure you can get a Kenmore Progressive for that. Maybe even a Dyson with a 20% BBB coupon.

You can go to BBB and use the 20% coupon. it sells for $199 but with the 20$ coupon you will save 40.00
They say its the same as a DYSON. i never owned a Dyson but they say it has the no lose suction technology which is the same as a Dyson.

I have to say I LOVE THIS! I wanted a DYson but DH didnt want to spend $400 on a vacuum so we settled on this.
I have had it for 2 weeks, I vacuum every day and I am in love. I have a 2 yo and a dog and we are renovating so my floors get messy but have to be clean for my DS!
Features I love:
-Long power cord so I can do alot of rooms without having to unplug and replug.
-Lightweight - 15lbs
-Works on all floors, I have mostly Hard wood but some area rugs and tile. I like that I can turn on the brushes and then turn them off again so they dont damage my floors.
-It has been great at picking up my dogs constant loss of fur!
- bagless
- fliters only need to be cleaned every few months...
- My area rugs have never felt cleaner
Overall I dont have any cons on it yet.

Same technology as the Dyson at half the price. With a 20% BBB coupon it's $200.
