Vacuum
Please recommend your vacuum and why you like it. Especially those who have pets that shed. I have two dogs, a cat, two year old and a baby on the way. My vacuum is on it's last leg and barely picks up anymore. I need a new one but what something good. Hoping to not spend too much if possible.

I bought the Shark Navigator! I have a shedder of a dog and a 2 yo as well! I am very happy with it! I use is at least 2x a day on average!
It was 199 at BBB then I used the 20% off

I got my vacuum as a shower present from my inlaws....its an electrolux
it was the best present ever!! (I would never spend that kind of $$$ on a vacuum) but I am so thankful they did!
I love love love my vacuum...dh calls it my boyfriend
just to add we have 2 dogs one is a Siberian Husky that was left outside as a pup so he developed the true husky coat

I have a Dyson. I love it and it's great with pet hair (my dog sheds like crazy!!) but they are pricey  .

Same here! I have the electrolux oxygen 3. Right now I have 4 dogs and 3 cats. My dogs are extra hairy and shed like crazy (malamutes & siberians). It is a pricey vacuum but it is definitely the best I've ever owned.

I have the same vacuum and LOVE it!! My dog is a large great dane and shep mix and sheds like crazy!!
This vacuum is awesome and I just love the attachments too!

I wound up purchasing the Shark Navigator. The suction on that thing is amazing. I vacuumed an area rug I did the night before with our old vacuum and was amazed by the amount of pet hair that it got up. I do not love that the cleaning head is so small or how easy it tips over but I think I could get used to that. Thanks for the suggestions!
