Vacation with an infant
We want to go away when the baby is 2 months old....we want to be able to drive wherever we go. Any suggestions??? Thanks

Well, DH and I are heading to Nantucket for a week when the baby is 3 months old. So... not a MAJOR vacation... but we're getting out!

Newport, RI is gorgeous, so much to do! It's only 4 hours from NY, less time actual driving time if you take the Orient Ferry to New London, CT
There's always the Jersey Shore too.

How far are you willing to travel? You could go to New Hampshire and there are places like the mount washington hotel.

I agree with the Cape Cod area recommendations. That place is the best, especially when it's less crowded during the week. Ah, I wish we could go this year, but  will be too little I think.

My family always does Cape Cod...of course they are not doing it this year....but maybe we will! Thanks!
