Vacation Spots - Caribbean-Suggestions please!

My DH and I decided we want to go away with DS and another family whose DD is our DS's age. I really NEED a vacation. Plus, I am having Baby #2 in July and want to get awy before I am too huge!! The only time we can all get away is in March...so this is sort of last minute and right in the middle of high season.

I need some ideas of good warm weather locations...probably the Caribbean. We are looking for an island that has non stop air service and resorts that cater to families. OUr original plan was Key West but then I realized that there is no direct flights there and I don't want to deal with a layover while traveling with a 1 year old.

Any suggestions on islands that fit this bill or nice resort areas??? TIA!!!

I love Aruba, you can get a direct flight and when we were there for our honeymoon there were lots of kids under the age of 5 there that looked like they were having a blast!

The flight is about 4 hours.

No you are not oddChat Icon I still love Aruba thoughChat Icon

How about Atlantis in the Bahamas?

I had family that also went to Turks and Caicos a couple years ago and loved it, they are starting to build up over there too.

What about a cruise around the caribbean? You could get the best of everything.

Have you thought about the Beaches resorts? They have them in Jamaica and Turks & Caicos, they cater to families.

Bermuda Bermuda Bermuda and Bermuda.

Oh and Bermuda is also nice.

By the way did I mention Bermuda? Chat Icon

It is so beautiful there. Beaches are beautiful as well. They have a zoo and an aquarium. It's small but something the little ones might get a kick out of.

We are going on a cruise that is stopping in Bermuda and Bahamas. They only do direct flights to new york. It's a small Island. Probably smaller than LI...LOL It's clean and the people are friendly. On our honeymoon we did a cruise that only stopped in Bermuda so we didn't stay at any hotels and don't know if they have hotel resorts. But I would imagine they do. You could always ask a travel agent.
