Vacation ideas

We are trying to put together a low-budget small trip (maybe 3-4 days) for this spring or summer.

DD will be 18 mos. in June, so we would like a place that has maybe one attraction that is geared for her (I.e. Zoo, aquarium) but more important is general child-friendliness and welcomness if not necessarily child-appeal.

I'd love any ideas! Thanks!

Mystic seaport sounds perfect for you...
The seaport is nice & there is an aquarium.
You can stay in Newport (30 minutes away)... There is a Howard Johnson that has an indoor pool that is appropriately priced. Lots of great restaurants.

Cape may is nice too... Zoo & beach, great seafood. Stay nearby in AC or cape may (I've never had success with cape may because they book early & isolated weekends are impossible).

Philadelphia has the Please a Touch museum. You can do Dutch Wonderland or Sesame Place.

White Mountains Region of NH. We took DS there with his cousins when he was a baby and it was so much fun!
