Vaca on Christmas
Any ideas where to go for a couple of days on xmas eve and xmas day? Looking to go away a couple of days with the kids (6 and 4). Somewhere we can drive to.
Thanks!

We went to the Gaylord Resort just outside DC last year with a 3 and 6 year old the day after Christmas. They have a lot of Christmas activities and then we did DC museums. They had a ton of fun.

We are doing this for Thanksgiving. It looks so fun! I would definitely check into it OP. They have Christmas dinner seatings, and a ton of activities! There is a Groupon for the ICE show (not sure if it's good those dates), and it works out cheaper than a package.

Are you looking for something Christmas related? Hershey and Dutch Wonderland do Christmas themed stuff, not sure if they are open those days though. Or the water parks in the Poconos might be fun. I know Great Wolf does it up nice.

We don't celebrate Christmas, but still love the decorations and all. Not looking for a Christmas dinner, but if we're away we'd see lights and all.
I'll look into those. Thanks

Ahh okay. The theme of their Ice thing is Santa Claus is coming to town, so that's probably not appropriate. Maybe Rocking Horse Ranch. That's super fun! We went last January and had a blast.

Never thought of Rocking Horse Ranch. How far is it and what's there to do in winter? Is it a lot?
