UTI that won't quit
So I went to my dr today to be re-tested and I will find out by then end of the week if my pesky UTI has finally gone away. If not, my dr is referring me to a urologist to see if they can help. I have had a UTI since being 8wks pregnant and am now 21wks. Anyone else have this problem. My dr said that it isn't too much cause for concern, but that it can cause pre-mature labor, so of course, now I am very concerned. Anyone experience this?

Re: UTI that won't quit
Hey honey..hang in there and do as they say...I ended up getting one about 2 months ago...I am now 25 weeks, and after it was treated it came back...I ended up have early contractions and put on bed rest because it turned into a bladder infection....it still keeps comin back...I've been on about 4 diff anti biotics...at one point I ended up in the hospital about a month ago...I am back at work and go to my dr weekly to get tested...they haven't suggested the urologist yet..but if it keeps up i'm sure I will end up there too. Just keep on top of your appts, have them keep testing you, drink lots of water, go to the b-room frequently and take it easy...if you find the remedy please let me know...but for now just do as they say and make sure they don't become bladder infection..the hospital, the contractions and the fear was no fun and I don't want it to happen to you. Please keep me posted on your progress. I hope you feel better soon.
