i have internet options set to accept cookies... what else can i do?

if you have your system clearing your history out every day, then it will clear that out too.

Some websites won't allow you to retain login information for security purposes. Other sites don't have cookies, and still other sites have the login portion embedded in a script, so it's generated every time, making it almost impossible to save login information.
