Using Honey for a Cough
Does anyone know if it is less effective if you mix it in juice or apple sauce? DS (who has a major sweetooth) will not take honey--doesn't like it. I was just wondering if it coats the throat better taken straight?

My mom would always mix it in with my juice or tea when I was sick I think it has the same affect.

Thanks! I'm probably overthinking it, but it must do something. So I'll try putting it in juice or applesauce tomorrow and see if he'll take that.

I think I read somewhere no honey for baby's under 2 b/c of the risk of botulism.  .

He is 2 years old, and I heard under 1, unless that changed recently! Everything changes so it's always possible.

I fill up 1/2 tspn in the syringe and give it to DS that way...
